Kibajuni (also referred to as Bajuni) is a dialect of Swahili, and the language spoken by the Bajuni people. They are an ethnic minority group in East Africa, who principally inhabit the Bajuni Islands and parts of Kenya and Somalia.
Express Language Solutions' network of over 3500 experienced linguists provide Kibajuni language services to the public, private and voluntary sectors in over 150 other languages.
Our skilled Kibajuni translators and interpreters specialise in numerous different subject areas including law (court interpreting, immigration & asylum, probation interviews, solicitor interviews), health (health centre and hospital appointments, medical notes, home visits, midwives), education (school registration, meetings with parents, parenting courses) and housing (homelessness assessments and license agreements).
Recent Kibajuni projects involved interpreting in an immigration law case, telephone interpreting in a family law matter, court interpreting at a personal injury trial and interpreting during a solicitor interview in the field of clinical negligence.
